Lowe Alpine Backpack

I have recently acquired a TFDC Wilderness ND65+15 backpack made by Lowe Alpine. Was only used once on a trip in India. How and what kind of trips are good for this kind of pack? Would this work for a several day hiking trip or canoeing adventure?

Your backpack will be very handy for whatever your imagination can conjure up but this style is great for longer backpacking trips. This pack originally was sold with a rain cover for nasty weather. If you didn't get the cover with the pack it's not the end of the world. Rain covers can be bought at most equipment stores and regardless of whether you use one or not you should always make sure everything in your pack is protected from the elements. This can be done at a low price simply by using plastic bags. You could also use this pack for canoe trips but I would advise you to invest in actual dry bags to protect your belongings inside. When canoeing you should always take precautions just in case there's an accident and your pack ends up in the water without the canoe.

Thanks for the tip. I will definitely invest in a few dry bags for the pack.
